<br />. <br /> <br /> <br />.... <br /> <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY PARK & RECREATION CO~SSION <br />December 14,1965 10:30 a.m. <br /> <br />A Special Meeting of the Park & Recreation Commission was called to <br /> <br /> <br />order by Chairman Alyn Beals at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, De~ember 14, 1965, <br /> <br />in the office of City Manager Howard Ullrich. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Alyn Beåls, Ann Gooding, James Knecht, Jasper <br /> <br />Sipes, Jack Stuart, Doris Thompson and Robert Whitmore. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Also present: <br /> <br />Director of Recreation, Alfred MOrton: Supt. of Parks, <br /> <br />Pasco Balzarini: City Manager Ullrich and Ass't. city Manager, Fenton <br /> <br />Mee. <br /> <br />A short briefing was given by City Manager Ullrich concerning park and <br /> <br />recreation plans in the Redwood Shores Project. <br /> <br />He advised that release <br /> <br />of information to the public regarding the feasibility report had been <br /> <br />delayed - it had been planned for Decemb"er 11th. <br /> <br />Mr. Ullrich described <br /> <br />the program that is planned for public information and education on Red- <br /> <br />wood Shores if it is a "gO" project. <br /> <br />Chairman Beals asked Mr. Ullrich to prepare copies of the section of <br /> <br />the report that pertained to park and recreation so that each Commiss- <br /> <br />ioner could have a copy. <br /> <br />Mr. Beals also requested that several copies <br /> <br /> <br />of the entire report be made available for Commission review as other <br /> <br />sections might be pertinent to Commission decision. <br /> <br />Mr. Ullrich stated <br /> <br />that Zerox copies would be sent each Commissioner as soon as possible <br /> <br />(rec'd 11/11/65) and that several copies of the entire report could be <br /> <br />made available to the Commission. <br /> <br />Adjourned 11:25 a.m. <br /> <br />Doris C.
