50 , , " ~ Commissioner Stuart thanked Chairman Knecht for his outstanding job as Commission chairman and his possible termination as a commissioner. Mr. stuart moved that a unanimous vote of thanks be extended to Chairman Knecht for his outstanding and diligent work on the Commission, seconded by commdssioner Thompson, and passed. Chairman Knecht expressed pleasure of action of the Commission of approving the master plan for Community Park,~ and cu1verting¡ had hoped that additional mini-parks would be underway by this time1 urged that Commission continue working on such projects, and to get the Armory out of the park¡ expressed his pleasure of being a member of the Commission -and of the many, many vo1~ unteerahours given by commissioners without remunerationJ and that he was proud to be a member of this Commission. ,- 14 - ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:05 p.m. DORIS C.
