O R I G I N A L (7-15-91) <br /> 1/20/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11687 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO - RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER <br /> PROGRAM (R.S.V.P. ) <br /> WHEREAS, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P. ) has been <br /> established for the principal purpose of providing volunteer placement <br /> services for senior citizens in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, (R.S.V.P. ) has <br /> requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1991 and ending June 30, 1992; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P. ) the <br /> sum of THREE-THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3,500.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Volunteer Center of San <br /> Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) , and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br />
