(7/15/91) <br /> O R I G I N A L 1/20/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11684 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF SANTA CLARA <br /> AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES/FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, The Second Harvest Food Bank, has been established <br /> for the principal purpose of providing a constant source of <br /> donated food to twenty-one emergency box programs in Redwood City. <br /> WHEREAS, The Second Harvest Food Bank a California non-profit <br /> corporation, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1991 <br /> and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to The Second Harvest Food Bank the sum of FIVE-THOUSAND <br /> AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($5,000) and; <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood and The Second Harvest Food Bank <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br />
