<br />--------- <br /> <br />DES:dp:12/16/76 <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 1 0 1977 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />No.1 69 1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1678, <br />ESTABLISHING SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEE <br />CLASSIFICATIONS RELATING TO MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br />ASSIGNMENTS AND CERTAIN DESIGNATED OFFICERS, TO INCLUDE <br />THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1678, entitled <br /> <br />"Ordinance Establishing Salary and Wage Plan for Certain Employee <br /> <br />Classifications Relating to Management and Confidential Assignments, <br /> <br />and Certain Designated Officers; and Repealing Ordinance No. 1622, <br /> <br />All Amendments Thereto, and All Ordinances in Conflict Therewith," <br /> <br />adopted August 2, 1976, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />For the officers appointed by the Council, <br /> <br />"Section 4. <br /> <br />the following monthly salary rates and/or monthly salary <br /> <br />ranges (expressed as minimum and maximum amounts), in <br /> <br />dollars, are hereby established: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall receive a monthly salary rate <br /> <br />established within a range of $1,310 to and including $1,780. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Finance (holding the consolidated <br /> <br />offices of City Treasurer, Collector, Assessor, and Auditor) <br /> <br />shall receive a monthly salary rate established within a range <br /> <br />of $1,950 to and including $2,600. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />The City Attorney shall receive a monthly salary rate <br /> <br />established within a range of $2,240 to and including $3,050. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />The City Manager shall receive a monthly salary of <br /> <br />$3,425." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 591 <br />
