<br />CGM:yc:6/16/76 <br /> <br />0 R DIN AN C E <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1673 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 28 1976 <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE <br />FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY 1, 1976-JUNE 30, 1977; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN <br />SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, TRANS- <br />FERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION OF EXISTING <br />APPROPRIATIONS; THE DISPOSITION OF UNEXPENDED UNENCUMBERED <br />MONEYS IN FUNDS AT CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR; AMENDING THE <br />DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I, CHAPTER <br />32, OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65 <br />AND NO. 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1976-JUNE 30, 1977; <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1635, AS AMENDED, AND ALL <br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year <br /> <br />July 1, 1976-June 30, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City has approved said budget and said <br /> <br />budget has been certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager <br /> <br />as the final budget of the City for said fiscal year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Redwood City to <br /> <br />adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as amended, <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Adoption of Budget. <br /> <br />That certain above mentioned <br /> <br />budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1976-June 30, 1977, approved <br /> <br />by the Council of the City of Redwood City and certified by the <br /> <br />City Clerk and the City Manager, presently on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, entitled "City of Redwood City Annual Budget, <br /> <br />1976-1977," is hereby referred to and incorporated herein as if <br /> <br />fully set forth herein verbatim, and said budget is hereby adopted <br /> <br />1673 <br />
