Code § 27383] <br />GRANT DEED <br />THE UNDERSIGNED GRANTOR DECLARES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The undersigned declares that this Grant Deed is exempt from Recording Fees pursuant <br />to California Government Code section 27383 and exempt from Documentary Transfer Tax <br />pursuant to California Revenue and Taxation Code section 11922. <br />FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, <br />The CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br />of California ("City"), hereby grants to the SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDWOOD <br />CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a public body, corporate and politic, of the State of <br />California existing under the provisions of ABxI 26, enacted June 28, 2011 and AB 1484, <br />enacted June 27, 2012 ("Grantee"), the real property ("Property") legally described in the <br />document attached hereto, labeled Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />1. The Property is conveyed subject to the Redevelopment Plan. The Property is <br />also conveyed subject to all matters of record. <br />2. Grantee hereby covenants and agrees, for itself and its successors and assigns, that <br />Grantee shall maintain and use the Property in accordance with the uses and provisions of the <br />Redevelopment Plan. <br />3. Grantee herein covenants by and for itself and its successors and assigns that there <br />will be no discrimination against or segregation of, any person or group of persons on account of <br />any basis listed in subdivision (a) or (d) of section 12955 of the Government Code, as those <br />bases are defined in sections 12926, 12926.1, subdivision (m) and paragraph (1) of subdivision <br />(p) of section 12955, and section 12955.2 of the Government Code, in the sale, lease, sublease, <br />transfer, use, occupancy, tenure, or enjoyment of the Property herein conveyed, nor shall Grantee <br />establish or permit any practice or practices of discrimination or segregation with reference to the <br />selection, location, number, use or occupancy of tenants, lessees, subtenants, sublessees, or <br />vendees in the Property herein conveyed.
