REG:yc:4/17/64-7 <br />RESOLUTION N O. 4271 <br />RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTIONS OF OFFICIAL PLAN LINES <br />ESTABLISIED BY RESOLUTION NO. 4232 FOR PALM AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Planning Commission has recommended <br />to this Council that those certain plan lines adopted on March 16, <br />1964, by Resolution No. 4232 of this Council be modified by the <br />abandonment of that portion of Palm Avenue plan lines as lie <br />between Kentfield Avenue and Sierra Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the property necessary for Palm Avenue between <br />Kentfield Avenue and Sierra Street was acquired in October, 1963, <br />on an alignment slightly different from that shown on the above <br />mentioned plan lines; and <br />WHEREAS, no public purposes would be served by the continued <br />maintenance of the Palm Avenue plan lines between Kentfield Avenue <br />and sierra Street; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Section 31.13 of Ordinance <br />No. 600, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, this Council of the <br />City of Redwood City does hereby abandon that portion of the <br />Palm Avenue plan lines, as adopted by Resolution No. 4232 on <br />March 16, 1964, as lies between Kentfield Avenue and Sierra Street. <br />
