R`^.ek 4/1/64-7 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. �+ <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR SIX NEW AUTO- <br />MOBILES FOR USE BY POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND, AUTHORIZING <br />CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />specifications for six latest model 4 -door 8 cylinder sedans for <br />use by the Police Department for municipal purposes; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires <br />to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk <br />to advertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications prepared in the office of <br />the City Manager and on file in the office of the City Manager, <br />consisting of notice of sealed bids, bidding forms, specifications <br />and bid sheets, for the furnishing of six new latest model 4 -door <br />8 cylinder sedans for use by the Police Department, are hereby <br />approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />call for bids for the equipment designated in the aforementioned <br />specifications. <br />� * x <br />
