MSR:dp:3/13/79 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N o-8252 <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 2 1979 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND REDWOOD CITY - SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, RELATING TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT <br />AND PROMOTION OF LOCAL INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE IN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of <br />Commerce has requested the City of Redwood City to contribute <br />a total sum of Three Thousand Twenty -Four and No/100 Dollars <br />($3,024.00) during the remaining portion of the fiscal year <br />1978-79, for the purpose of resuming certain general public <br />information services, which assist in the maintenance and improve- <br />ment of the economy of the City of Redwood City by furthering the <br />general development and promotion of local industry and commerce, <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />authorize the execution of an agreement by and between the City <br />of Redwood City and the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of <br />Commerce for such purposes for the remainder of the fiscal year <br />1978-79; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 3/13/79) by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City - San Mateo County <br />Chamber of Commerce relating to the general development and <br />promotion of local industry and commerce in the City of Redwood <br />City, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which agreement reference is hereby made for <br />the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br />is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />lJ v 2, <br />
