RD 06-04 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE BY-LAWS OF THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, hereinafter referred to as "Agency," shall have general supervision over <br /> <br />the administration of the business and affairs of the Agency, subject to the direction of <br /> <br />the Agency in accordance with the Agency by-laws of 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency by-laws of 1982 originally designated the City Manager <br /> <br />as the Executive Director of the Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency by-laws were amended in 1987 to designate the <br /> <br />Housing and Redevelopment Director as the Executive Director of the Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency by-laws were amended in early 2003 to designate the <br /> <br />Planning and Redevelopment Manager as the Executive Director of the Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Department was reorganized <br /> <br />in late 2003 which resulted in the creation of the separate positions of Planning <br /> <br />Manager and Redevelopment Manager; and the Planning Manager remained the <br /> <br />Executive Director of the Agency and delegated responsibility for the daily operation of <br /> <br />the Agency to the Redevelopment Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Agency to designate Community Development <br /> <br />Director as the Executive Director of the Agency. <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1630 <br />062706 <br /> <br />RD 06-04 <br />Muff # 403 <br /> <br />"" --"-"---"-----------"--------~-_.- <br />
