03/25/2019 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15745 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR EMPLOYEES <br />REPRESENTED BY THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL <br />UNION LOCAL 521 <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local <br />521 have reached agreement on a Successor Memorandum of Understanding for <br />February 1, 2019 — January 31, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties agreed to amend the salary and wage plan by granting a <br />three percent cost -of -living adjustment effective March 4, 2019, a three percent cost -of - <br />living adjustment effective February 3, 2020, and a two and one-half percent or three and <br />one-half percent cost -of -living adjustment effective February 1, 2021. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City's salary and wage plan for SEIU employees shall be amended as <br />set forth in Exhibit A. <br />2.
