NAN C E N O. <br /> <br />1626 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1621, <br />ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN <br />DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br />TO MODIFY THE HOURLY SALARY RATE FOR POLICE OFFICER <br />TRAINEE <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 32 of Ordinance No. 1621, entitled <br /> <br />"An Ordinance Establishing A Salary and Wage plan for Certain <br /> <br />Designated Employees of the city of Redwood city: and Repeal- <br /> <br />ing Ordinance No. 1557," adopted January 27, 1975, is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Employees appointed to positions in <br /> <br />"Section 32. <br /> <br />the following trainee classifications shall receive <br /> <br />compensation computed by the hour, for the designated <br /> <br />steps as follows: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Fire Fighter Trainee <br /> <br /> Steps (1) (2) <br /> $3.65 $3.84 <br />(b) Police Officer Trainee <br /> Steps (1) (2) <br /> $3.77 $3.98 <br /> <br />(3) <br />$4.03 per hour <br /> <br />(3) <br />$4.18 per hour <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption: provided, however, the provisions hereof <br /> <br />shall be operative retroactively to and including January 1, <br /> <br />1975 . <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1626 <br />
