<br />MSR:dp: 2 /20/75 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 10 1975 <br /> <br />ORD.!NANCE <br /> <br />N o.lß..2 4 <br /> <br />0 RD INANCE AMEND ING SECT ION 2 1 . 1 0 F THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE <br />PRACTICE OF CERTAIN CRAFTY ARTS OR SCIENCES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 21.1 of the Code of the city of <br /> <br />Redwood city is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 21.1 No person shall carryon, practice <br /> <br />or profess to practice for a fee, or other compensation <br /> <br />or remuneration, the business or art of palmistry, <br /> <br />phrenology, life-reading, fortunetelling, cartomancy, <br /> <br />clairvoyance, clairaudience, crystal gazing, mediumship, <br /> <br />prophesy, augury, divination, or necromancy, in the CitY1 <br /> <br />provided, however, that nothing in this section shall <br /> <br />apply to any ordained or duly accredited minister of any <br /> <br />form of religious belief, or the faith, practice or <br /> <br />teaching of any religious body." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 ~?
