<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Human Investment Project <br />Homesharing Help and Information Program <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this c5J€fday ol )vGV~r <br />2006, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Human Investment Project, a California <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides a homesharing help and an information <br />program; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit A (Contractor Objectives) which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Twenty Two Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($22,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Twenty Two Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($22,000) for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007, solely for <br />the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />ATTY/AGR/2006.050 <br />081606 <br />
