<br />DES:yc:6/13/74 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JlIN 24 '74 <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1606 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REm-mOD CITY ADOPTING THE <br />FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY 1, 1974-JUNE 30, 1975; PROVIDING FOR THE APPRO- <br />PRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID <br />BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, TRANSFERS, <br />ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION OF EXISTING <br />APPROPRIATIONSj THE DISPOSITION OF UNEXPENDED UNENCUH- <br />BERED MONEYS IN FUNDS AT CLOSE OF FISCAL YEARj AMENDING <br />THE DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I, <br />CHAPTER 32, OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS <br />FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, <br />NO. 2-65 AND NO. 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1974- <br />JUNE 30, 1975; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1565, AS ~.MENDED, <br />AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year <br /> <br />July 1, 1974-June 30, 1975; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City has approved said budget and said <br /> <br />budget has been certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager <br /> <br />as the final budget of the City for said fiscal year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Redwood City to <br /> <br />adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as amended, <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />SECTION 1. Adoption of Budget. That certain above mentioned <br />budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1974-June 30, 1975, approved <br />by the Council of the City of Redwood City and certified by the <br />City Clerk and the City Manager, presently on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, entitled "City of Redwood City Annual Budget, <br />1974-1975," is hereby referred to and incorporated herein as if <br /> <br />fully set forth herein verbatim, and said budget is hereby <br /> <br />adopted as the annual budget of the City of Redwood City for the <br /> <br />fiscal year July 1, 1974-June 30, 1975. <br /> <br />1606 <br />
