MSR:yc:2/G/73 ORDINANCE ----------- N O. /.::16 () ORIGINAl 1lNl19 '13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECrION 27.12 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REm-WOD CITY I RELATING TO MONTHLY CHARGES FOR SEWERAGE SERVICES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. section 27.12 of the Code of the city of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: The follmving monthly charges are hereby "section 27.12 established and levied upon all premises which are situate within service Areas A and B of the city and which are receiving sewage service by direct connection to sewer facilities which are owned by and under the jurisdiction of the City: "(a) Residential ch~rge: Each separate private resi- dential dwelling unit or premises situate in Area A, $2.50 per month. Each separate private residential dwelling unit or premisessituate in Area B, $3.70 per month. H(b) Nonresidential Charge: Each premise~ situate within the corporate limits of the city of Redwood city devoted to other than private residential dwelling use shall pay a monthly charge based upon the number of cubic feet of effluent or waste matter deposited monthly in the sewer facilities of the city as follows: $0.1750 per 100 cubic feet deposited in excess of 1,200 cubic feet: provided, however, that in no case shall the charge for nonresidential premises be less than $3.50 per month in Area A or less than $ 5.00 per month in Area B." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its adoption: provided, however, that the provisions of Section 1 . hereof shall be 'operat~ve on and after the first day of the regular billing period for each of the premises therein referred to next following the effective date hereof. * * * " .. lV"'"'
