12/11/00 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2206 (READOPTION) <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A <br /> PORTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; DESIGNATING SAID <br /> DISTRICT AS UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO, 2000-1; <br /> DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING <br /> WHAT UTILITY FACILITIES WILL BE MAINTAINED ABOVE GROUND; AND <br /> ESTABLISHING THE TIME BY WHICH POLES AND OVERHEAD WIRES <br /> SHALL BE REMOVED AND UNDERGROUND SERVICE PROVIDED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article II of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City <br />of Redwood City (commencing with §11.30), proceedings for the establishment of an <br />underground utility district in a portion of the City of Redwood City were instituted by Resolution <br />No. 14079, adopted October 23rd, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 14079 sets forth the purpose of said District, its <br />proposed designation and boundary description, describing what utility facilities, if any, may be <br />maintained above ground, and the time and place for hearing objections to the formation of the <br />proposed District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was provided by mailing and publication in <br />accordance with §11.42 of the code of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Monday, December 11, 2000, at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the <br />matter could be heard, at the Redwood City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, <br />Redwood City, California, the following objections were received: <br />Oral or Written <br /> <br />Name & Address of Objector Objection Nature of Obiection <br /> <br />Ord-120 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br />10/05/00 <br />10/13/00R, 10/18/00R <br /> <br /> <br />
