<br />DES.ek 12/5/68 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br />--------- <br /> <br />N o. 1398 <br /> <br />APR 14 119 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF' THE CITY OF REm-lOOD CITY <br />APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNIN&~ITED <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED " <br />LAUREL WAY ANNEXATION " <br />AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING <br />SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REm'lOOD <br />CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the <br /> <br />2nd <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />December <br /> <br />, 19 68 , <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution <br /> <br />No. 5845 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, <br /> <br />ini tia te upon its ovm moti.on proceedings to annex to the <br /> <br />City of Redvlood City all of the territory designated as <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />LAUREL \vAY ANNEXATION <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WrffiREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and <br /> <br />finds, that the proposal to annex said territory, with descrip- <br /> <br />tion, was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />the County of San Hateo, California, and that said commission <br /> <br />has prepared or caused to be prepared a report on said annexa- <br /> <br />tion, and that said commission has approved the annexation <br /> <br />and i.ts boundaries as required by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence shO\.,ing, <br /> <br />and has found, and again finds: <br /> <br />(1) That said territory is situate i~~ediately adjacent to <br /> <br />and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />(2) That on <br /> <br />December 2 <br /> <br />, 19~_, this Council did <br />, entitled "Resolution of the <br /> <br />adopt its Resolution No. <br /> <br />5845 <br />
