J 1 220 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARY PLAN FOR POSITIONS OF <br />EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY EXEMPT FROM <br />THE MERIT SYSTEM <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The monthly salary rates in dollars are hereby <br /> <br />established for positions exempt from the employment merit system <br /> <br />(competitive service) of the City of Redwood City as set forth in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, and the hourly and bi-weekly equivalent <br /> <br />rates for such positions as set forth in said Exhibit are <br /> <br />likewise hereby established, in ranges, for the period beginning <br /> <br />October l, 1989. <br /> <br />2. Persons appointed on part-time basis to position in the <br /> <br />employment classifications designated in Exhibit A hereof shall <br /> <br />be compensated on an hourly basis in accordance with the salary <br /> <br />rates set forth in said Exhibit for the respective positions of <br /> <br />employment. <br /> <br />3. This resolution shall be effective on the date of its <br /> <br />adoption; provided, however, that the provisions hereof shall be <br /> <br />operative retroactively from and after October 1, 1989. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
