RELATING TO WORKERS' <br />COMPENSATION CLAIMS ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES <br /> <br />'1389 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City as a self-insurer for <br /> <br />workers' compensation requires workers' <br /> <br />compensation claims <br /> <br />administrative services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage Advanced <br /> <br />Claims Technologies, Inc. of Concord, California to perform such <br /> <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />its approval for Advanced Claims Technologies, Inc. to provide <br /> <br />the abovementioned services to City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty and Advanced Claims Technologies, Inc. entitled "Service <br /> <br />Agreement", a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement, with <br /> <br />attestation by the City Clerk, for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />J0976 <br />
