1/4/99 <br /> ORIGINAL -~ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13534 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE <br /> (3) TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLER CABINETS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of three (3) traffic signal controller cabinets for the Public Works <br />Services Department of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Synchronex of San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br />Synchronex; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Synchronex, for the purchase of three (3) traffic signal <br /> controller cabinets to the City of Redwood City in the total amount of Seventeen <br /> Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-eight and 781100 Dollars ($17,828.78) and in <br /> accordance with said bidder's proposal dated December 4, 1998, is hereby <br /> accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said cabinets. <br /> <br /> 2.
