<br />Sv. nt 12/29/87 (#22) 111/8 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 71 0 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING TWO (2) PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS IN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA (REDWOOD SHORES AREAS "E" AND "F") <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 10697, adopted December 7, 1987, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the two hereinafter described public service <br /> <br />easements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the abovementioned <br /> <br />public service easements has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described public service easements are unnecessary <br /> <br />for present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />public service easements vacated. <br /> <br />2. The public service easements to be vacated were <br /> <br />established by and designated on that certain document entitled <br /> <br />"Easement Agreement", dated August 6, 1973, and recorded in <br /> <br />Volume 6447, Pages 136-142, inclusive, in the office of the San <br /> <br />Mateo County Recorder, and are shown on the attached plat labeled <br /> <br />"Exhibit A" , <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />1 0 71 0 <br />
