<br />DAS:s~ 1/13/87 (#18) <br /> <br />O r)!n "\' I~ I <br />i ~\ it:! ! i ",J t}i L. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 1Jl.4.1 0 -<f <br /> <br />JAN 2 0 1927 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />DISC CHIPPER FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) disc chipper for landscape maintenance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, two (2) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of said disc chipper; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ricker Machinery Co., Oakland, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Ricker Machinery Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ricker Machinery Co., in the sum of Sixteen <br /> <br />Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-seven and 25/100 Dollars ($16,667.25), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 25, <br /> <br />1986, for the sale of one (1) disc chipper for landscape <br /> <br />maintenance is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />disc chipper. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said disc chipper in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />10410"1 <br />
