ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING FOR MICROENTERPRISES <br /> (SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER) <br /> <br /> SAN MATEO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT/ <br /> CANADA COLLEGE <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this )O~'~h~- day of <br />~,/~, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> ! <br />mulicipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT/CANADA COLLEGE, a California <br />nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a job training program for low income <br />residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Three Hundred and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br />(102,300.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of One <br />Hundred Two Thousand Three Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($102,300.00) for exclusive <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
