ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ ~ day of ~ <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and ANDERSON <br />BRULE' ARCHITECTS, INC. ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to consider a Redwood City Branch Library in <br />Redwood Shores (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform a needs <br />assessment, surveys, conceptual plans, and related services described in Exhibit <br />"A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br />performance of said services.
