ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING AND DESIGN <br /> SERVICES - HOOVER SCHOOL SPORTS FIELD <br /> RENOVATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 2.~day of <br /> <br />2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, ("City"), and THE BEALS SPORTS COLLABORATIVE, of San <br />Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires the improvements of Hoover School playing field within <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />cOnsulting engineering and design services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br />engineering and design services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services.
