<br />~~S:djc 12/12/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 11 3 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 6 7986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT IV TO JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE SOUTH BAYS IDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cities of Belmont, Redwood City, and San <br /> <br />Carlos, California and the West Bay Sanitary District (formerly <br /> <br />named the Menlo Park Sanitary District; which agencies are <br /> <br />hereinafter collectively called the "Agencies") entered into that <br /> <br />certain agreement dated November 13, 1975, entitled "Joint <br /> <br />Exercise of Powers Agreement - South Bayside System Authori ty" <br /> <br />(the "Agreement"), and three supplemental agreements thereto <br /> <br />dated for convenience as of June 8, 1977, June 1, 1983, and April <br /> <br />26, 1984, respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, among other matters, Section 2.4 of the Agreement <br /> <br />provides a specific amount of compensation to be paid Commission <br /> <br />members of the Authority, which amount does not reflect <br /> <br />significant changes in economic conditions which have occurred <br /> <br />since said amount was established; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Subdivision (a) of Section 7.2 of the Agreement <br /> <br />includes a clerical error with respect to the description of Peak <br /> <br />Wet Weather Flow for the City of Redwood City as expressed in <br /> <br />said Section; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. SBSA 85-17 adopted <br /> <br />September 18, 1985 by the Commission of the South Bayside System <br /> <br />Authority, said Commission approved and recommended execution of <br /> <br />Supplemental Agreement IV to the Agreement amending Sections 2.4 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />10113 <br />
