OBI( INAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> CLARA-MATEO HOMELESS REHABILITATION SHELTER <br /> <br /> (CLARA-MATEO ALLIANCE, INC.) __,~_ <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this~' day of <br /> <br /> 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and CLARA-MATEO <br />ALLIANCE, INC., a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a homeless rehabilitation shelter for homeless <br />individuals, couples and families who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program tot residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001. and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the total sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, solely for the <br />purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 8/15/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
