_ ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> AIDS CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICES) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I~''~ day of <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />munic'ipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and ELLIPSE PENINSULA <br />AIDS SERVICES, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an AIDS case management program for <br />persons who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
