'- ORIGINAL - <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> (MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~,~day of <br />.... 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of Califomia, (City), and MENTAL HEALTH <br />ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, a California nonprofit corporation <br />(Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an emergency shelter program for single <br />persons with mental disabilities who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br />June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> <br />Agmt-Mental Health <br />PS 98-007 <br />8/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
