... - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~~day of <br /> --~'~ /~/~'~/J~.~/dY,-, , 1998, by an dbetween the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> <br /> corporation of the State of California, (City), and MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR <br /> FAIR HOUSING, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a fair housing counseling program for residents <br /> of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br /> June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of Thirty Seven Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($37,000.00) from its Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance.
