<br />Cr.~1:rb 1/06/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 9499 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (REDWOOD <br />SHORES PARKv7AY) IN 'I'HE CITY OF REDWOOD CI'I'Y IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF <br />THE STATE 01" CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 9483, adopted November 21, 1983, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described public service <br /> <br />easement over a portion of Redwood Shores Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described <br /> <br />portion of the abovementioned street has been published and <br /> <br />posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVBD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described public service easement is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />public service easement vacated subject to a line of non-access <br /> <br />be retained by City as described in "Exhibit B." <br /> <br />9499 <br />
