<br />CGM:' J-c 12/29/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JAN 3 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9286 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT AWARD FROM OFFICE OF <br />CRIMINAL JUSTICE PLANNING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood city desires to undertake <br /> <br />a certain project designated Career Criminal Apprehension <br /> <br />Program to be funded in part from funds made available <br /> <br />through State General Funds Fiscal Year 82/83 as authorized <br /> <br />by Chapter 1167 of the 1978 Statutes for the Career Criminal <br /> <br />Apprehension Program, administered by the Office of Criminal <br /> <br />Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as "OCJP"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit <br /> <br />the attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement <br /> <br />Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City the attached Grant Award for law enforce- <br /> <br />ment purposes, including any extensions or amendments thereof; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the City agrees to provide all matching funds required <br /> <br />for said project (including any extension or amendment thereof) <br /> <br />under the Career Criminal Apprehension Program and the rules and <br /> <br />regulations of OCJP and that cash will be appropriated as required <br /> <br />thereby; and <br /> <br />9286 <br />
