<br />CGM:mf 1/20/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 041 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 2 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LANDSCAPE PLANTING AND <br />PAVING ALONG EL CAMINO REAL IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEr~NT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 9013, adopted December 7, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for landscape planting and <br /> <br />paving along El Camino Real in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SHOOTER & BUTTS, INC., Mountain View, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Shooter & Butts, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Shooter & Butts, Inc. in the sum of Two <br /> <br />Hundred Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($220,930.00) plus the top soil addition computed in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated January 12, 1982, for landscape <br /> <br />planting and paving along El Camino Real is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Shooter & Butts, Inc. for the performance of said work <br /> <br />in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of <br /> <br />9041 <br />
