~o R I G I N A L -- 1/13/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12986 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL <br /> SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIRE <br /> STATION AND A MAINTENANCE FACILITY <br /> <br /> (DES ARCHITECTS + ENGINEERS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to construct a Fire Station <br /> <br />and a Maintenance Facility at Redwood Shores in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood City <br />requires professional architectural services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 26, 1996, City and DES Amhitects + Engineers, of <br />Redwood City, ("Amhitects"), entered into an agreement, (form dated 8/22/96R; <br />approved by the City Council by Resolution No. 12856), for architectural services <br />to be rendered by Architect in connection with the Project (the "Agreement"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City and Architect desire to amend the Agreement to reflect <br />changes in the design and location of the Project and add tasks to the Scope of <br />Work. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement - Professional <br /> Architectural Services - Redwood Shores Fire Station and Maintenance Facility" <br /> (form dated 01/08/97), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br /> Reso- 118 <br /> G%shared\redwood~counc[I <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 01/02/97 <br /> 01/08/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
