<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />San Mateo County Interfaith Hospitality Network <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of ~~~ 2007, <br /> <br /> <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and San Mateo County Interfaith <br /> <br /> <br />Hospitability Network, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the <br /> <br />"Parties"). <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, provides certain services through programs, including the program <br />described in Exhibits "A" ("Programs"), and "B" ("Quantitative Goals"), attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof. <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in Exhibit B, for residents of City during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1,2007, and ending June 30,2008 (the "Fiscal Year"); and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed Contractor's request and the Project and desires <br />to allocate a certain sum of money from its Community Development Block Grant funds <br />for the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand and no/100 ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2008, solely for the <br />purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS.
