<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Shelter Network of San Mateo (Redwood Family House Rehabilitation) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this //:?d day of aT~~ <br /> <br /> <br />, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Shelter Network of San Mateo, a <br /> <br /> <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovatelimprove certain facilities (the <br />"Project), which provide services to individuals who are residents of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to finance, in <br />whole or in part, the Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1,2007, and ending June 30,2008 (the "Fiscal Year"); and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed Contractor's request and the Project and desires <br />to allocate a certain sum of money from its Community Development Block Grant funds <br />for the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Ninety Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($90,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2008, solely for <br />the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in Exhibit A ("Construction <br />Projects") for the Redwood Family House Renovation and Exhibit B ("Quantitative <br />Goals"), attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />A TTY/AGR/2007.084 <br />092107 <br /> <br />1 <br />
