<br />.# <br /> <br />CGM:wb 8/6/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~Q. --8.1i5-1 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 11 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN <br />ROADWAY EXPENSES RELATING TO REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has awarded a contract for <br /> <br />the construction of Redwood Shores Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo <br /> <br />has made a determination that the construction of Redwood Shores <br /> <br />Parkway is of general county interest and, based upon that <br /> <br />determination, County is willing to grant aid in the construction <br /> <br />of such project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the source of such grant from the County will be from <br /> <br />funds derived from the provisions of Section 2104 and Section 2106 <br /> <br />of the Streets and Highways Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />enter into an agreement with the County for the County to reimburse <br /> <br />City for eligible roadway costs pursuant to the provisions of the <br /> <br />above mentioned sections of the Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement Between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the Redwood Shores Parkway Project" between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the County of San Mateo for reimbursement by the <br /> <br />County of eligible roadway costs in connection with the construction <br /> <br />of Redwood Shores Project to be undertaken by City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8657 <br />
