'\ DES:yc:8/lS/80 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8662 ORIGINAL AUG 18 1980 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE- MENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR ALLOCATION AND USE OF SANITARY SEWERAGE TREATMENT CAPACITY FOR EMERALD LAKE HILLS AREA PROPERTIES WHEREAS, the Emerald Lake Hills Area comprises a portion of the unincorporated territory of the County of San Mateo in the vicinity of the boundaries of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, the Emerald Lake Hills Area is within the sanitary sewerage service area of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, new sanitary sewerage treatment facilities are being constructed by the South Bayside System Authority, a public entity, which, at the request of the City on behalf of the County, are designed to include sufficient capacity to accommodate the anticipated requirements for treatment of sewage which may emanate from the lands within the Emerald Lake Hills Area; and WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council providing for the allocation, payment, and use of sanitary sewerage treatment capacity for the benefit of properties situate within the Emerald Lake Hills Area; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Wastewater Treatment Capacity (Emerald Lake Hills Area)" (form dated 8/15/80 R), a copy of which agreeement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 8662
