ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTNG SERVICES <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS - <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARATION <br /> <br /> (JAMES BRINKLEY, AIA- KAISER PERMANENTE) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~/~' day of November, <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation ("City"), and JAMES BRINKLEY, AIA, of Kent, Washington <br />("Consultant") (collectively the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires professional consultin§ services for <br />environmental analysis of Kaiser Permenante's ("Kaiser") proposed expansion <br />and remodel of its hospital campus on Veteran's Boulevard (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform all of those <br />services described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br />performance of said services.
