<br /> DES:-~-;k 02/07/90 (035/7) <br /> FEB 26 1990 02/12/90R <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2011 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF, AND ADDING SECTION <br /> 38.14 TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING <br /> TO WATER METER SERVICE CHARGES AND CAPITAL FACILITIES <br /> FEES, RESPECTIVELY <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has held duly noticed public hearings <br />on the question of adjusting certain rates relating to the City's <br />water system including water meter service charge and the <br />establishment of a capital facilities fee; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with consideration of the <br />aforementioned charges and fees, this Council has reviewed and <br />approved a report and plan pertaining to the use and construction <br />of capital facilities for said water system for the ensuing five <br />fiscal years; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />fees and charges enacted by this ordinance do not exceed the <br />estimated reasonable costs of providing the services for the use <br />and construction of the facilities to which they correspond; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. Section 38.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 38.5. Water Service Charge; Schedule. In <br /> addition to all other charges and fees applicable to users <br /> of water from the water system owned or operated by the City <br /> of Redwood City, as established by the water rules and <br /> regulations, as amended, and this chapter, a monthly water <br /> service charge shall be paid for each meter installed within <br /> --....... ..- <br />
