<br /> MJP:(1-';m 04/06/90 (015/8) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> o R DIN A N C E N o. 2 017 JUN - 4 1990 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A <br /> SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> REDWOOD SHORES, INC., AND THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, FOR <br /> ITSELF AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64, TO CONSENT TO THE <br /> ASSIGNMENT TO REDWOOD SHORES PROPERTIES ( "RSP") , A <br /> CALIFORNIA JOINT VENTURE GENERAL PARTNERSHIP, BY <br /> REDWOOD SHORES, INC. , OF ITS RIGHTS UNDER THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AS PREVIOUSLY AMENDED, AND TO <br /> RELEASE REDWOOD SHORES, INC. , FROM ITS OBLIGATIONS <br /> UNDER THE AMENDED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1859, adopted May 24, <br />1982, this Council approved a development agreement for land at <br />Redwood Shores, in accordance with the provisions of Government <br />Code Sections 65864 - 65869.5; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph 14 of the aforesaid <br />development agreement, said agreement may be amended by mutual <br />consent of all parties, as confirmed by the enactment of an <br />ordinance by the City Council, after a duly noticed public <br />hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1894, on April 16, 1984, <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City, after duly noticed <br />public hearings before the Planning Commission and the Council, <br />adopted an amendment to the development agreement, entitled <br />"Amendment to Agreement- Development Agreement- GID 1-64" to add <br />additional territory subject thereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to that certain Purchase and Sale <br />Agreement for Redwood Shores dated June 26, 1989, as amended by <br />the First Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement dated <br />September 28, 1989 (the "Amended Purchase Agreement") , Redwood <br />Shores Properties ( "RSP") , a California joint venture general <br /> -.. .,., "... <br />
