11/23/2020 <br />RESOLUTION NO.SA-20-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADOPTING THE <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO <br />THE REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NO. SA -19-01 <br />WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1974, as amended (Cal. Gov. Code <br />§81000, et seq.) ("Act"), requires state and local government agencies to adopt and <br />promulgate a conflict of interest code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission ("FPPC") has adopted a <br />regulation, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code, that can be <br />incorporated by reference by a local agency as that agency's conflict of interest code (2 <br />Cal. Code of Regulations Section 18730); and <br />WHEREAS, Section 87306.5 of the Act requires that conflict of interest codes be <br />reviewed and, if appropriate, revised biennially in even -numbered years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency dissolved effective February 1, 2012 <br />per AB x1 26 and a Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency ("Successor <br />Agency") was created; and <br />WHEREAS, by Successor Agency Resolution SA 19-01, adopted January 14, <br />2019, the Successor Agency adopted a Conflict of Interest Code (the "Code") for the <br />Successor Agency, by adopting by reference 2 Cal. Code of Regulations Section <br />18730, as that section may be amended from time to time, and by also approving as <br />exhibits, disclosure categories for certain designated positions within the Successor <br />Agency; and <br />ATTY/RESO.0140/SA RESO ADOPTING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR SA & REPLEAING RESO NO.
