11/23/2020 RESOLUTION NO.SA-20-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADOPTING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. SA -19-01 WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1974, as amended (Cal. Gov. Code §81000, et seq.) ("Act"), requires state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate a conflict of interest code; and WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission ("FPPC") has adopted a regulation, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code, that can be incorporated by reference by a local agency as that agency's conflict of interest code (2 Cal. Code of Regulations Section 18730); and WHEREAS, Section 87306.5 of the Act requires that conflict of interest codes be reviewed and, if appropriate, revised biennially in even -numbered years; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency dissolved effective February 1, 2012 per AB x1 26 and a Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency ("Successor Agency") was created; and WHEREAS, by Successor Agency Resolution SA 19-01, adopted January 14, 2019, the Successor Agency adopted a Conflict of Interest Code (the "Code") for the Successor Agency, by adopting by reference 2 Cal. Code of Regulations Section 18730, as that section may be amended from time to time, and by also approving as exhibits, disclosure categories for certain designated positions within the Successor Agency; and ATTY/RESO.0140/SA RESO ADOPTING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR SA & REPLEAING RESO NO.
