RD 08-05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE BY-LAWS OF THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, hereinafter referred to as "Agency", shall have general supervision of the <br /> <br />administration of the business and affairs of the Agency, subject to the direction of the <br /> <br />Agency in accordance with the Agency by-laws of 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Agency by-laws of 1982 originally designated the City Manager <br /> <br />as the Executive Director of the Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Agency by-laws were amended in 2006 to designate Community <br /> <br />Development Director as the Executive Director of the Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the former Community Development Director has been appointed as <br /> <br />the City Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS it is the desire of the Agency to designate the City Manager as the <br /> <br />Executive Director of the Agency. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1.
