<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Shelter Network of San Mateo County <br />(Redwood Family Transitional Housing) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /L/1f day of September 2008, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Shelter Network of San Mateo County, <br />a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, provides certain services through programs, including the program <br />described in Exhibits "A" ("Programs"), and "B" ("Quantitative Goals"), attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof. <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in Exhibit B, for residents of City during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1,2008, and ending June 30,2009 (the "Fiscal Year"); and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Eighty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($80,000.00) consisting of the sum of $35,000 <br />from CDBG Funds and $45,000 from General Funds, for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2008, and ending June 30, 2009, solely for <br />the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS; ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. Contractor will use the <br />funds provided pursuant to Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in <br />Exhibit A ("Programs") and Exhibit B ("Quantitative Goals"), attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />A TTY/AGR/2008.065 <br />\080508 <br />
