<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />COMMUNITY OVERCOMING RELATIONSHIP ABUSE <br />(Emergency Shelter for Domestic Violence Survivors and their Children) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /P,fday of September 2008, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Community Overcoming Relationship <br />Abuse (CORA), a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the <br />"Parties"). <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, provides certain services through programs, including the program <br />described in Exhibits "A" ("Programs"), and "B" ("Quantitative Goals"), attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof. <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in Exhibit B, for residents of City during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 2008, and ending June 30, 2009 (the "Fiscal Year"); and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Twelve Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($12,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2008, and ending June 30, 2009, solely for <br />the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS; ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. Contractor will use the <br />funds provided pursuant to Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in <br />Exhibit A ("Programs") and Exhibit B ("Quantitative Goals"), attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />ATTY/AGR/2008.064 <br />080508 <br /> <br />1 <br />
