_ ORIGINAL_. <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> YOUTH AND FAMILY COUNSELING <br /> <br /> (FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~c~day of <br />~x3Ql~"r3c~r')E(L', 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and FAMILY SERVICE <br />AGENCY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, a California nonprofit corporation <br />(Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts counseling services to at-risk youth and their <br />families with a focus toward early intervention and prevention of criminal and delinquent <br />behavior for persons who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> <br /> 10/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
