for <br /> <br /> AT-RISK YOUTH INTERVENTION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this .~ day of <br />OC 7'at~/~- , 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation o£ the State of' California, (City), and POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE, a <br />California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an at-risk youth intervention program for <br />residents of' the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br />June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum o£ Eight Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($8,000.00) £rom its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance.
