<br />(J: <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that whereas <br /> <br />the city taxes for several years were delinquent on that certain property <br /> <br />situate in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of <br /> <br />California, described as: <br /> <br />Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, in Block 6; Lot 7 in Block 4; Lot 4 in <br />Block 7; Lot 10 in Block 10; Lot 16 in Block 8, Lill~OLT <br />TRACT, as shown on that certain map recorded in Book of <br />Maps at the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo <br />County, May 7, 1925, in Book 12 of Maps at pages 30 and <br />31; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all of said ~operties are subject to a first-lien deed <br /> <br />of trust in favor of the WEST COAST LIFE INSURP~CE COMPANY, a corporation; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said WEST COAST LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, a corporation, <br /> <br />sold, assigned, and transferred all its interest in and to said deed of <br /> <br />trust to THE DOXSEE COMPANY, a corporation; and <br />WHEREAS, said DOXSEE COMPANY, a corporation, has acquired all <br />title to said property; and <br />WHEREAS, said DOXSEE COMPANY, a corporation, has paid all <br />delinquent city taxes levied and assessed against said property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the City of Redwood City has no right, <br /> <br />title, claim, or interest in or to said property, all city taxes having <br />been paid thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City, at a duly <br />and regularly called meeting, received evidence as to the City'S interest <br />in said property, and from the evidence finds all city taxes levied have <br />been paid; and that the City of Redwood City has no interest of any kind <br /> <br />in or to said property; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of said <br />City of Redwood CitY9 on behalf of the City, execute, acknowledge, and <br />
